I got this free from my first can of chocolate anmum. It is supposed to let you wear your non-preggy pants and shorts.
Amazing.
At 35in waistline, I haven't bought any clothes for maternity yet and I don't intend to because I don't have money.

I had my Warts Removal in D'Spa and Skin Center in Short Horn, Proj 8 QC from a coupon in Metrodeal. It only costs 250php for unlimited warts removal for the Face.

As I remember, topical anaesthesia was applied on the warts, then we waited 40 minutes, then the procedure only took 10 to 15 minutes. I have low pain threshold that's why I literally cried. It smells like burning hair during the entire procedure.

They asked me to buy a post-cautery cream, 300php, and it is to be applied twice a day on the scabs.

The last scab fell off after 10 days.

But hello to a wart-free face. =)

In NeoMedica Health Services Inc., in Congressional Avenue, their Transvaginal Ultrasound only costs 750php. This compares to 1,800php in Healthway in SM North and 1,900 in The Medical City in Waltermart Munoz.

This is my second time to experience this - first was with Cecilia in April 2008 - and it still hurts, considering I am prepared for the tube-like-condomed-with-gel ultrasound. But seeing the baby's heartbeat for the first time makes me jump with even more excitement.

These are what I have used on my body since this morning:
Shisheido Super Mild Shampoo and Conditioner.
Mike bought me these from his trip to Japan this December, and the label "Super Mild" made me use this over the Clear Shampoo and Conditioner I was using prior to knowing I was pregnant with Baby Number 2.

L-R Body Shop Shea Shower Cream, Body Shop Shea Body Scrub, Lactacyd Woman Feminine Wash, Body Shop Vitamin E Facial Wash, and Colgate Total Dental Floss

The scent of Body Shop Shea line always reminded me of my pregnancy with Cecilia. Maybe in our subconscious we knew we were pregnant! The set was Mike's 2012 Christmas gift. The body butter that came with it lasted me less than a week. I (will) scrub once a week.

I did not want to purchase any more Feminine Wash because of my Use It, Give It, Sell It, Throw It Mantra plus I am starting to fix things around the house so I really have to spend less on personal things. This Lactacyd Woman was an impluse buy in one of our grocery trips this 2012, primarily because of the pretty looking eco bag that came with it.

But I still prefer Lactacyd Pink.

In addition, I wanted to complete the Vitamin E Facial Care of The Body Shop, but I can't seem to regularly use its facial wash-toner-night/day cream. After three to four consecutive days, I feel a slight burning sensation around the temples of my cheeks. So I stopped, and used just their facial wash in the morning.

EO Flex Wear  All-in-1 Solution + EO Clear Contact Lenses.
I just ensure I put them on before I put on lotion because alcohol, toner, lotion, o any cream on my fingers irritates my eyes. These are the cheapest Clear Contact Lens I have encountered, so far.

 Kanebo True Care Lotion

This is from Mike's Japan's trip. Nothing special. It seems unscented; it's not too sticky or too light. I can't say anything about its ingredients since everything written on it is Japanese. I just can't live without lotion after bathing.

 Maybelline Baby Lips Pink Glow

My lips, even though they are still dark, feel healthier in the absence of smoking and lipsticks, probably because of this. This is the best lip gloss I have used. I guess this will remain in my kikay kit forever.

Ponds White Beauty Pinkish White Glow Lightening Cream

Even if it has changed names, packaging, (and maybe the formulation), I have been using this on and off since 7th Grade. I just love its matte finish, its smell, and its very cheap at 20php for the 10g sachet. It has a resealable cap too, so it does not mess up your kikay kit.

Contractubex

This is going to be another regular in my kikay kit since I had bruises from two weeks ago. I have to apply 3-4 times application daily, and pray. Pray for the future skin of my legs.

I am starting the year pregnant, with bruises, and full of hope. Only Christmas lights have been added to our Christmas Tree of 5 years.

Mike said Christmas has it pagan origins.

There is a newly-opened Jollibee in Congressional Avenue:  I always wonder how it feels inside a Jollibee Costume.

===========
This is the first year I am not using a planner. And I disposed my old planners and notebooks. They just collect dust at home:

2010 Belle De Jour Power Planner

2011 Stradmore Mommy Blogberry with Mike's note. It reads:

24 Dec 2010
Isang taon na naman ang paparating
Para dagdagan ang edad at dunong natin,
Pati mga gastusin, tuwa, at mga hiling.
Pero anu't anuman
Ikaw lang ang aking mamahalin.

Oohhh its so hard to let you go. But I have to.

Cloth Diaper 101: Prepping New Cloth Diapers

Why you should prep new nappies:
* to remove residue left over from manufacturing. Remember:: these were probably made in a factory with machines and then packaged by human hands. just imagine the different scenarios it could have been exposed to.
* inserts (mf, bamboo, hemp) will only reach full absorbency after 8-10 washes

How to prep:

INSERTS/SOAKERS/BOOSTERS (synthetic materials like MF)
1. soak overnight in HOT WATER
2. wash with a little detergent
3. dry under the sun

INSERTS/SOAKERS/BOOSTERS (organic materials like bamboo and hemp)
1. you may soak overnight in HOT WATER OR boil for 15 minutes
2. wash with a little detergent
3. dry under the sun

SHELLS/COVERS
1. soak overnight with COLD water
2. wash with a little detergent
3. line dry under the sun

AIOs
1. Wash with HOT WATER ONCE with a little detergent
2. dry under the sun

New nappies will gain absorbency as they are used. To avoid leaking, wash 8-10 as per manufacturers' instructions OR wash once and keep on for smaller periods of time (1-2 hours).
