Paramdam lang yung gustong magregalo para masabi ko kung anong gusto namin ni Baby Girl Cecilia. Paramdam lang rin yung gustong bumisita sa ospital para sa detalye. At least 5 days ako doon next week.

One Week

Kung may isang Linggo ka na lang bago magkaroon ng totoong-nakalabas-na-sa-world na baby girl, heto ang mga payo ko sa iyo:

1. Uminom araw-araw hanggang sa super lasing na na masarap..para malakas ang loob. Yosi na rin para mas kumpleto ang package. Marlboro Lights. (pero yun nga, hindi naman pwede itong naiisip ko)

2. Magtapon ng mga papel-papel at kung anu-anong mga kalat na inaalikabok sa dami, dahil simula Grade School pa ako e sentimental ako, na pati yung quizzes ko nakatago lahat. Maglinis nang maglinis. (So the nesting instinct.)

3. Mag hoard ng diapers good for three months. (Na hindi naman advisable rin dahil depende sa baby kung magiging hiyang sya sa diaper) 

4. Marealize na nasa bandang dulo ka na talaga ng mga Preggy Books na gabi-gabi mong binabasa simula nung malaman mong nagbunga na ang pagmamahalan nyong mag-asawa. Tapos isipin mo kung sino na ang susunod na magbubuntis para ibibigay mo na ung mga preggy books mo. At ma excite para sa buntis na friend na yun.

5. Kumain nang kumain sa labas kasama ng asawang pogi, dahil hindi nyo na magagawang mag splurge sa mga susunod na buwan. Effort na kasi siguro umalis. Hindi na tulad ng dati na anytime e go! Kasi kailangan magdala na ng diaper, burp pads, milk, churva, churva, churva..

10. Tumanggap lang nang tumanggap ng lahat ng tulong na ibinibigay ng mga nasa paligid. At mas lalong mahalin ang mommy mo na never naman kayo naging close pero ngayon talagang mararamdaman mo na mahal ka nya. (Swear, hindi ka na makakapag gupit ng sarili mong kuko sa paa. At mamimiss mong hindi na makita ang ilalim ng tyan mo.)

11. Maningil na ng mga taong may utang sa iyo. At i-kebs ang mga pinagkakautangan, manganganak ka na e. Ikaw ang may kailangan.

Hindi man ako handa financially (dahil mabubuhay ako sa freebies ng asawa at pamilya ko), wala na akong ibang maisip ngayon kundi, mommy na ako. At baby, handa na kami ni tatay mo para sa iyo.

Count Your Blessings

Sa third trimester ng pagbubuntis, buntis na buntis ka na talaga nun. (pm mo na lang ako kung gusto mo ng detalyadong churva tungkol sa kung anong mangyayari sa iyo pag nabuntis ka). Ang dami ko sanang gustong ireklamo kaya ako nandito, pero naisip ko, mas marami pa rin akong blessings na natatanggap lalo na ngayon.

 

1.  Pogi ang asawa ko. (Swear masarap tignan ang poging asawa.) Mabango pa. Matalino pa. 2.  Maraming nag-aalok ng libreng laundry service. (Yun nga lang, kalat-kalat ang mga damit namin ngayon kung saan-saan)
3.  I can wake up at 8am and be in the office at 8:30am. Hindi ko pa kailangan mag-commute. May Anthony Taberna pa ako na taga-gising, at sina Balasubas at Balahura na nagkkwento tuwing nagddrive ako.
4.  Mike gives me backrubs every night -- sobrang kailangan ito! At parati ko naiisip na kawawa naman yung mga walang asawang nagbuntis. Wala silang mauutusan kumuha ng pagkain.
5.  I have money to buy my lotions, creams and soaps.
6.  Konti na lang makikita ko na ang face ng baby girl namin. Pina-practice na nya talaga ako na maging gising sa madaling araw sa kasisipa nya sa akin.
7.  Marami kaming supply ng bigas. Marunong pang magsaing si Mike.
8.  Bago yung bed namin na hinihigaan kaya hindi masyado masakit sa likod. (Pero masakit pa rin)
9.  Sobrang healthy ng pagbubuntis ko. Never ako nagsuka, o nag-faint, o nag-spotting. At malandi pa rin kaming mag-asawa.
10. May insurance ako sa Van Breda.  
11. Adik sa paglilinis ng bahay ang aking lola (ni Mike) at aking nanay (ni Mike) kaya sila na ang gumagawa ng paraan para malinisan yung bahay.
12.  Inaalagaan ako ni Mike nang sobra. Pati sina Daddy, Mami, Ate. Kulang na lang huwag na nila ako pagalawin.
13. Marami akong preggy books. Sosyal pa yung OB ko.
14.  Nakakanood ako ng mga latest na libreng sine at series dito sa office. Sobrang busy kasi dito e.

Parsley Toaster Roasted Chicken

Description:

Ingredients:
Small pieces of fresh chicken good for me and mike (4 easy to cook pieces)
3 tablespoons butter
medium onion chopped
chopped garlic
salt and pepper
parts of squash cubed
baby potatoes


Directions:
In a pan, saute garlic, onion in butter, add parsley then cook

Rub parsley mixture on the chicken. "Bake" in toaster with water. Add potatoes and squash.

Pinoy Pasta Salad

Description:
Tentative 15 October 2008 Wednesday Dinner

Ingredients:
Leftover Adobo, drained and flaked
1 250 g pack of pasta
2 tablepoons olive oil
2 medium tomatoes cut into half circles
1 cup basil leaves
1/2 cup button mushrooms, halved
2 tablespoons capers
1 tablespoon almond flakes
Salt
Cheese, grated

Directions:
While the pasta is cooking, stir fry the oil and adobo, tomatoes, basil leaves, mushrooms, capers and almonds
Season with salt

Combine mixture with pasta. Top with cheese.

Adobo - Pepper Burrito + Yummy pears

At gumamit lang ako ng microwave sa pag-"prito" ng talong at ng tuyo dahil yung electric stove e hiniram. Tapos ang aga pa para kunin.

Sorry kasi kahit na half-asleep pa lang ako nung isang gabi (kagabi yata yun), at *niyayakap* mo ako, nagtuloy ako sa pagtulog at di kita pinansin kahit na bagong ligo ka.

Our Little Christmas Tree

Unang pasko na "magkasama" kami noong 2005. Yun yung panahon na pa-deny-deny pa kami na may certain, (at shempre yung mga pinaka-nakakakilig na moments --oo, nakakakilig yang si Mike na parang walang damdamin bilang tao) -- dito sa taong ito pinakamarami. Yun yung panahon na habang nagcecelebrate kami sa bahay (at sya sa kanila), nangangarap kami na "sana kasama ko sya ngayon".

Humingi ako ng Christmas Tree sa kanya nun. Sabi ko gusto ko yung malaki, yung mataas, yung, kahit na 3 by 3 lang ang bahay namin, at kalahati na ang ma-take up na space e malaking Christmas Tree ang gusto ko.

Nung Linggo, 95 Days before Christmas, naitayo na namin yung aming 7 feet na Christmas Tree sa bahay. (habang commercial sa panonood ng Ateneo-La Salle game)

Ganyan si Mike. Minsan lang mangako, pero tinutupad. Bakit walang decorations?? -->Ang baby girl namin ang magiging Decoration ng Pasko namin ng 2008.

100 Days Married!

7 Random Things About Mike before we got married:

 

1.  He footmassages you even if you are not tired, even if you just want to be footmassaged, and especially when you are tired from walking in heels.

 

2.  From Marikina, he will fetch you in the airport in Pasay, drop you home back in Pasig, and then go back to work for an hour  then go back again to you because that’s what he does. He wastes gas.

 

3.  He will spend all day reading. Just reading.

 

4.  He asks permission before he farts.

 

5.  Change all the clocks/watches/cellphone time so you can trick him into doing (or not doing things). For example, he wouldn’t feel hungry or ask for food if it’s not 12noon for lunch, or 7pm for dinner.

 

6.  Kill him with shrimps.

 

7.  He has a lot in his head – song lyrics to all songs possible, countries and capital cities of the world, flags, dinosaurs, history, girls, porn, local starlets and old old local tv stars.

 

 

 

7 Random Things About Mike after we got married:

7.  He has a lot in his head – thesis, bills, sweeping floors, washing cars, old stuff with his friends from the secret stuff, song lyrics to all songs possible, countries and capital cities of the world, flags, dinosaurs, history, girls, porn, local starlets and old old local tv stars.

 

 

Pregnancy Peeves

 

 

1.  Namimiss ko ang magyosi, lalo na sa mga pagkakataong todo sarap talaga ng kain ko, o pati dun sa mga bored moments ko na ang magagawa na lang e magyosi. Nakakaiyak ngang makakita ng mga bagong yosi na gusto ko talagang tikman, (pati yung mga small packs ng Marlboro, yung tig-lima lang yata) at shempre ang Marlboro Lights ko na ok lang kahit parati akong mabaho.

 

 

2.  Related to number 1, namimiss ko ang Strong Ice. Yung galing sa freezer, at masarap na kwentuhan. Pero kahit Strong Ice lang ok na yun. Pag natapos akong magbuntis e araw araw akong maglalasing.

 

 

3.  Hindi rin ako makapag-heels. Kaya sad ngayon lahat ng Dekay shoes ko sa Pasig. At mukhang wala akong balak dalhin sa bahay namin sa Project 8 kasi depressing for me. Ang pangit pa naman ng flats. (Pero anyway nagsusuot pa rin naman ako ng heels kahit na sa tuwing makikita ako ng mga matatanda e parang mahihimatay sila.)

 

 

4. Nagigising ako ng mga 3-4 times sa isang gabi, babangon, at wiwiwi. At hindi yan exaggeration. Tapos aabutin ka nang ilang oras bago makatulog uli. Hindi naman pwedeng uhawin ang sarili ko para lang hindi na ako magwiwi. Buti nga dito sa office may sarili kaming CR sa loob ng unit namin e.

 

 

 

5.  Sexy buntis daw ako pero shempre hindi ito forever. Darating rin ang araw na todo lolobo itong tyan ko, at hindi na mukha ko ang titignan ng kahit sino, kundi tyan ko na lang parati.

 

 

6.  Tinutubuan ako ng weird thingies sa balat. Ugly! Plus hindi naman pwedeng magpahid o uminom ng kung anu-ano para lang sa ikagaganda ng aking balat. At shempre magkakastrechmarks pa ako pag malaking malaki na tyan ko. Balitaan ko kayo pag meron na.

 

 

 

7.  Again, tinutubuan ako ng hair sa tummy. At hindi yun joke.

 

 

 

8.  Bawal ang NAPAKAraming bagay. Marami talaga. Pati ang mag-nail polish. Pati ang processed food. Pati ang pagtambay sa mga may nagyoyosi. Pati Iced Tea ha.

 

 

 

9.  Bibigyan ka ng hearty appetite, pero ang dami naming bawal na pagkain. Actually, mga “iwasan” lang daw – sweets, mga salty food, fatty food, processed food, junk food, raw food – e matabang na lang kaya ang kainin ko? Or wag na lang akong kumain??

 

 

 

10.  Pwede pa namin gumawa ng mga bagay na magdudulot ng pagbubuntis, pero shempre, dahil nga lumalaki na ang tummy, basta, once you get pregnant with husband, you’ll know.  

 

 

 

11. Mga boring gimmicks na lang ang nagagawa ko tulad ng pagmamall (na hindi ko naman hilig), panonood ng sine (na may online access naman ako para manood ng mga bago at lumang sine the whole day). At kailangang mga 9pm e sign off na ako at nasa bahay na.

 

 

 

12.  Parati akong pagod kahit na wala na nga akong silbi bilang tao.

 

 

 

13.  I have black pupu, weird smelling wiwi. Its because of the 72 million vitamins/medicines I’m taking.

 

 

 

14.  Oldies talk to you and give 99 thousand unsolicited advices. Wag daw kumain ng talong, wag magpapahakbang sa asawa sa kama, wag titingin sa pangit, wag kakain ng makopa, magsuot ng ganito pag ganitong oras, kumain ng ganitong dahon, at yung mga todo talaga sa wirdo na hindi ko na maalala kasi natawa lang ako.

 

 

 

 

Pero pag naramdaman mo nang sumipa sa loob ng tummy mo yung baby girl sa loob, ok na ang lahat at kebs. Para bang secret nyo lang dalawa ng baby yun. Kaya pala kahit na bad trip magbuntis physically, may mga kapatid tayo. Hindi natakot si Nanay natin na mabuntis uli. Ako ok lang sa akin na magbaby boy pa uli kami after ni baby girl.

1. Hindi pa nya ako pinaiiyak. Ever. (Maliban na lang kapag PMS-moodswings ako na ako ang nang-aaway tapos ako rin ang iiyak. Pero buntis ako maswerte sya na hindi ko siya inaaway, ibang moodswings naman.)
2. Lahat ng hinihingi ko binibigay nya. (Sa tamang panahon) Tulad ng Calendar nung 2006, tulad ng baby namin, tulad ng susunod na bote ng beer na iinumin ko.
3. Pinaglalaba nya ako ng mga damit. (Nung nasa apartment pa lang ako sa Katipunan, hanggang ngayong asawa ko na sya. Sana pati iron ng clothes.)
4. Dependent nya ako. College pa lang kami – sa thesis nung 4^th year, sa mga homework sa Stat at sa pagpirma para sa akin sa Sci10, sa groupworks na kaklase  namin yung anak ni Rudy Fernandezsa, at hanggang ngayon pati sa Philhealth at SSS nya.
5. Paglalakarin nya ako nang malayo at pasasakayin sa jeep kahit na alam nyang hindi ako nagcocommute at hate ko talagang maglakad (thus the stilettos, pero bawal pa til i give birth). Pero dadalhin nya ako sa mga lugar na pang-date na hindi mall, hindi motel, kung hindi mga lugar na like nyang lakarin. (At dati e nagkasakit sya sa tenga. Coding yata ako nun kaya sumama ako sa kanya pauwi sa kanila. Pinaglakad nya ako sa malayong nilalakad nya papuntang bahay nila sa North Susana sa kainitan ng araw pero ok lang kasi alam kong kailangan kong magpursige sa panliligaw sa kanya.)

22 fri -- ayun again inaway ko si mike. sa morning went to napc for my presentation sa asean study group commissioned, mga australians. then hinatid kami ng government na car, si kuya art sa training. then balik sa napc. i thought nandun na si mike. hay mood swings na yata ako. so inaway ko siya pagsundo ko sa ateneo, dinner kami sa new persian place sa taas ng flaming wings. then ayun away pa rin. then we went to hypermart bumili sya ng libro. then sa orchids, play. pero pagod na talaga ako nun.. stayed there til 3 am na yata. then paghatid ko sa kanya, nakatulog kami paraho kay city sa harap ng bahay nila. went home after.
23 sat -- slept til 11 am. then watched Damages sa AXN. si mike nag-lib sa ateneo sabi nya then pumunta sya sa bahay. nakatulog uli kami sa room ko.
24 sun -- hinatid ko si mike sa kanila, then nag-stay na ako dun til gabi na rin ako umuwi.
25 mon -- walang work. tambay lang the whole day sa bahay
26 tue -- today na. left my phone at home.

Pizza dinner with the Pante family.
Long chat with Rodel about boys and girls in the Office.
Hurt my finger in the Office bathroom.
Report to my boss and chitchat about Cynthia's trip to Tarlac with the PPDC.
Curl curl with Mike on his bed.
Text lots of people.
Good conversation with Daddy.
Petty fight with my Sister.

1. I gave Melchor a book for his Birthday, which I myself enjoyed reading. It was actually reading it that made me give it to Melchor because I'm sure he'll like it.
2. I had 150 warts cauterized, excluding the big one on my nose.
3. I have seen Edward Scissorhands and Rent the Rock Musical yesterday

What I did yesterday:

Drink 2 cups of lemon tea.
Eat lunch with Ish.
Watch Edward Scissorhands and Rent (the rock musical)
Go to my 8-5 job.
Wait for Mike for an hour and a half in Philcoa.
Pizza dinner with the Pante family.
Long chat with Rodel about boys and girls in the Office.
Hurt my finger in the Office bathroom.
Report to my boss and chitchat about Cynthia's trip to Tarlac with the PPDC.
Curl curl with Mike on his bed.
Text lots of people.
Good conversation with Daddy.
Petty fight with my Sister.

Again another web based blog. And yes, I am blogging from the office. I'm not busy today, as I was in the past few weeks.

Why another blog in a different name?

1. For one, my stalkers won't have a hard time getting to know me. (Oh yes, I have been and will always be stalked.)
2. I have amnesia. I have to write everything, or at least tell someone, or else, I forget every experience I have. And yes, I do have lots of adventures. I get to talk to a lot of people, go to so many places. Choz.
3. The need to just tell stories to strangers.

I have a stranger in my life right now. He has been hearing my stories for almost a year, and I'm so thankful that we are. We just are.

He's my cup of tea on a stressful morning. My chilled strong ice over cheap pulutan after a long day at work. He values my opinions, no matter how un-read I am. He doesn't judge (or seemingly judge) my decisions. And we talk. Just talk.

And we plan to get away someday but never do. Because he's not my "at the end of the day", and I am not his.
