This picture was taken in Dapitan, Zamboanga Del Norte, last August 2009. These are the steps going to a very romantic place in Rizal's home in Dapitan. "A Josefina," which reads in translation:

I'm taking small steps in forgetting you. I did quit you cold turkey, but no matter how forgetful I am, I can't seem to forget places, dates, people, food - I can't even forget the feel of my skin with your smell. I miss you so much.
